National Medicine Collection Campaign
Through its Community Medicine Bank, the Foundation collects medicines or raises funds to purchase them.
During one week in the year, the National Medicine Collection Campaign brings the country together with the purpose of collecting medicines that are then delivered to hospitals, social organizations, healthcare centers and people who have urgent need for them.
The campaign also raises awareness on the need to contribute in order to guarantee that the vulnerable population will have access to medication.
Hundreds of organizations such as schools, clubs, churches, synagogues, handicapped people’s associations, NGOs, medical organizations and companies contribute by raising awareness on the campaign and becoming collection centers for medicines or money. Thanks to these actions the Medicine Bank can continue to provide free medicines to those who need them across the country.
