Uterine and Breast Cancer Prevention Program

The lack of preventive checkups and access to medical consultations often makes it impossible for people to deal with ailments that, due to their belated detection, turn into severe diseases. Our Foundation develops healthcare prevention programs—in the case of women, focusing on uterine and breast cancer.

Fundación Tzedaká’s Uterine and Breast Cancer Prevention Program has been carried out yearly since 2004, enabling all women over 40 and teenagers to attend a gynecological consultation, with free access to Pap smears, colposcopies, and mammograms. All special cases are referred for further treatment, and all detected diseases are monitored with follow-up consultations.

Since the Program’s inception, over 3,000 women have undergone these medical checkups.
