Yom Tzedaká 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 Solidarity in Schools

Once again, Fundación Tzedaká brought Yom Tzedaká to schools with a new edition of this initiative, which encourages children to take an active role in helping other children through acts of solidarity.

At primary schools, students joined guest chefs to bake more than 1,400 leicaj (traditional honey cakes), which were then sold at each school. At secondary schools, students were invited to donate the equivalent of what they would normally spend on lunch, either through a collection box or a digital wallet.

All funds raised go toward supporting Fundación Tzedaká’s educational programs, which provide tutoring, scholarships, and ongoing support to hundreds of students across Argentina. This year, 14 primary schools took part, alongside 8 guest chefs, and 6 secondary schools also joined the initiative.

Through Yom Tzedaká, children learn that every act of solidarity can make a difference in someone else’s life.

We are grateful to everyone who joined this initiative: students and their families, schools, guest chefs, and volunteers.
