Fundación Tzedaká Annual Benefit
On May 7th we held our institutional event in the United States, at the Moise Safra Center in New York. The event brought together more than 200 people, both Argentines residing in the city and Americans interested in supporting the Foundation’s solidarity objectives.
The president of Fundación Tzedaká, Javier Suez, presented the reality that affects thousands of people in Argentina and our challenges to provide urgent responses. In addition, a special recognition was given to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), which was received by its CEO Ariel Zwang.
Attendees also participated in an auction with wonderful experiences, always for the benefit of Fundación Tzedaká and the finishing touch was the tributes to two families for their contribution to our solidarity work for so many years: Sandra Justin, Nicolás and Federico Kogan.
MEETING WITH THE ARGENTINE CONSUL IN NEW YORK
Javier Suez, President of Fundación Tzedaká and Betina Rosental, Executive Director, met with Ambassador Pablo Piñeiro Aramburu, Consul General of Argentina in New York City and with Natalia Acevedo, Deputy Consul. They spoke about the Foundation’s projects and solidarity actions; the officials also attended our institutional event.
TZEDAKÁ ON THE TIMES SQUARE SCREENS!
For the second year in a row we were present on the screens in Times Square with our message of helping the most vulnerable members of the community in Argentina. It was thrilling to see the Fundación Tzedaká projected in the heart of the Big Apple!

In such critical times as the ones we are going through in Argentina, being able to hold an event so far away and with such a large number of participants shows us that we are not alone and that our message of solidarity crosses borders.
