It is key to keep in touch during quarantine. Especially for our senior citizens, who should not be left alone or isolated. For that reason, we provided smartphones and tablets for those beneficiaries of the Holocaust Survivors Help Program who did not have one. This is a way to make it easier for them to be connected, to take part in their weekly workshops, and to continue receiving the fundamental stimulus that activity and social contact represent in these isolating times.

Now nobody is going to miss their virtual theatre classes, their literary exchanges, their choir exercises, or their “Café Europa” meetings, in which they enjoy a weekly show and build social bonds and feelings of belonging. This donation was made possible thanks to the support of Claims Conference.
