Celebrating the 10th Annual Event in New York

In a full-house setting, Fundación Tzedaká celebrated the 10th edition of its Annual Event in New York City. More than 170 guests took part in this special evening in support of the organization’s work in Argentina from overseas.

The event once again took place at the Moise Safra Center in New York, where guests enjoyed a cocktail reception followed by a dinner, during which they learned more about the organization and its impact.

Among the attendees were the Argentine Consul in New York, Gerardo Díaz Bartolomé; representatives of the Claims Conference, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, Jewish Network Funders, The Blue Card; as well as companies, banks, donors, and friends of the Foundation.

Hosted by Paloma Aizemberg, the evening opened with remarks by Fundación Tzedaká President Gabriel Cohen, who shared inspiring words and deep gratitude to all those present and to everyone who, from afar, embraces the value of tzedaká.

Later, led by Letitia Frye, guests took part in a solidarity auction featuring unique and exclusive Argentine experiences in the United States: a dinner with Francis Mallmann’s signature menu at La Boca restaurant in New York, tickets to the Argentine national football team’s World Cup debut match, a polo experience in the Hamptons, and a stay at a stunning resort in Patagonia, Argentina. With great charisma and sensitivity, Letitia encouraged attendees to continue supporting the Foundation’s social programs.

The most emotional and anticipated moments of the night came with the presentation of the 2026 Recognition Awards to four individuals honored for their support and commitment to the Foundation: Alberto and Flavia Ades, Neal Berger, and Julian Kiguel. The awards were presented by Gabriel Cohen, Ariel Sigal (former President of Fundación Tzedaká), Cynthia Werthein (Board Member), and Betina Rosental, Executive Director.

To close the evening, Paloma’s beautiful voice, a message of peace expressed through music, and a final toast for peace brought the night to an end.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who, from afar, chooses to extend a helping hand and makes it possible for us to continue transforming the lives of thousands of people in Argentina.
