A Story from Mozambique

Thousands of miles away from Argentina, in a small community in Mozambique, Hacoaj soccer jerseys bearing Fundación Tzedaká’s logo became part of a story of community, sports, and solidarity.

Documentary photographer Diego Rabin, a member of Hacoaj, regularly travels the world documenting everyday life in diverse communities. During one of his expeditions to Mozambique, he visited the Mangudze Mission, led by Argentine priest Juan Gabriel Arias. Before the trip, Father Juan asked him to bring soccer balls and jerseys. Diego gathered donations, including many Hacoaj jerseys featuring Fundación Tzedaká’s logo.

The jerseys became part of a joyful day of sports and community shared by children and young people.
Thank you to Hacoaj for sharing this story and for proudly carrying Fundación Tzedaká’s name across the world. It is deeply moving to know that acts of solidarity continue to cross borders and connect communities.
