Healthcare is one of the areas in which social inequity proves more evident. While middle- and high-income population segments can afford preventive healthcare, low-income sectors only access healthcare services for palliative or healing purposes.

A significant share of Fundación Tzedaká’s beneficiary population suffers from severe diseases such as cancer, asthma, diabetes, and others—all detected late as a result of lacking periodical medical checkups.

Our Foundation works hard to improve the living conditions of people with pre-existing diseases as well as to instill the notion of preventive care and healthcare habits in the population.
