We have once again carried out the solidarity initiative Yom Tzedaká, which has the dual objective of raising awareness about solidarity among young children, as well as raising funds so that vulnerable youths can remain in the educational system.
Elementary school children make leicaj (honey puddings) which are then sold to families at each school. Additionally, high school students donate the equivalent to their lunch money.
The money raised in both cases will be directed to Tzedaká’s educational programs, helping hundreds of students stay in school and prepare for the future despite their families’ economic hardships.
