Fundación Tzedaká has implemented the Emergency Assistance Program GUESHER, with the objective of providing help to Jewish families in Buenos Aires City and the greater Buenos Aires area whose activity was interrupted during quarantine, and who are now in a vulnerable situation. It is a temporary economic assistance program, and it is meant to cover their basic needs of food, health, and housing for a maximum period of six months. Joint is supporting the execution of this program. As the name of the program indicates (“Guesher” means “bridge” in Hebrew), its intention is to connect with those who are facing a difficult time.
The GUESHER program is focused on people who are not current beneficiaries of the Community Network. In order to apply, people can write to [email protected]. From then on, they will go through an assessment and admission process carried out by the professional team at Tzedaká.
