We welcomed a group of young American professionals from “ENTWINE”, a program of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee that fosters members of federations from different parts of the world to get to know Jewish communities and their organizations.
We shared with them our work and they met with participants of our Shoah Survivors Assistance Program who were having a Weaving Workshop, one of the 19 workshops and socialization activities offered by the Program. With a lot of enthusiasm, the participants showed the garments being made and they were touched by each survivor’s life story.
